Create a flyer/poster

The poster is a community-wide initiative designed to raise awareness about environmental sustainability. This project encourages individuals to create posters and flyers that highlight key sustainability practices, innovative green technologies, or the importance of protecting our planet. Participants will submit their digital designs through a Google Form, and the best submissions shared on social media, and potentially displayed in local community centers, libraries, or schools. This project provides a creative outlet for people to share their ideas and inspire others to adopt more sustainable lifestyles.


Directions for Participants

  1. Community hours – Submissions may earn from 5-20 hours depending on the sophistication of the poster/flyer
  2. Design Your Poster: Create a digital poster or flyer about a sustainability topic. You can focus on a wide range of subjects, such as, but not limited to:
    • Reducing Waste: Tips for recycling, composting, or using reusable items.
    • Conserving Energy: Ways to save electricity at home or at work.
    • Water Conservation: Simple methods for reducing water usage.
    • Sustainable Food: Ideas for gardening, supporting local farms, or reducing food waste.
    • Biodiversity: The importance of protecting local ecosystems and wildlife.
  3. Format Your Submission: Your poster must be a digital file. We recommend using common formats like PNG, JPG, or PDF. Make sure your design is high-resolution to ensure it looks good when displayed.
  4. Submit Your Work: Fill out the Google Form below with your info.
  5. Submission Guidelines:
    • Submissions must be your original work.
    • The content should be positive and educational, promoting sustainability in a clear and engaging way.

Important Note: By submitting your poster, you are giving the project organizers permission to display your work online and in physical locations for the purpose of this community service initiative. Your personal information will be kept confidential.
