Earlier this fall, we collaborated with Plastic Fisherman for a Transformation Clinic, where we turned plastic waste into new, usable products

Over two days, plastics previously collected from beach cleanups were sorted by color, shredded, melted, and formed into poles that can be used for a variety of applications.

Volunteers joined across both days, earned community service hours, and gained hands-on experience with the plastic recycling process.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with Plastic Fisherman and look forward to more transformation clinics in 2026!
